Houghton Regis with travel to London - hybrid working, minimum of 2 days in the office
Are you a subject matter expert in all things pertaining to Homeownership Collections? Do you have a track record in leading, inspiring, and developing a team? If so, you could be a Homeownership Collections Team Leader here at Peabody, leading our Officers and Assistants in the timely collection of rent, ground rent, service charge, equity loan interest and other sundry payments due to Peabody.
You'll lead and inspire your team to consistently meet and exceed targets and deliver excellent customer service, to maximise customer satisfaction. You’ll be results focused with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy, ensuring that all policies and procedures are adhered to. You’ll have a strong knowledge of best practice of the Housing Acts, Landlord and Tenant Act, and the Commonhold and Leasehold Reform Act, coupled with knowledge of First Tier Tribunal, court procedures, escalation protocols and relevant housing legislation.
You'll be required to work a minimum of 2 days in the office which will vary between Westminster Bridge Road, Ealing and Houghton Regis
If you’re proactive, able to multi-task and passionate about providing excellent customer service, this could be the role for you.
To be a success in this role, you’re:
* experienced in working with homeownership accounts.
* able to provide complex case handling including arrears recovery and complaint resolution.
* a results focused team player, experienced in managing others.
* knowledgeable in residential leases and freehold transfers.
* an excellent communicator with strong collaborative skills.
* numerically proficient, including working with various data reports, excel and account transactions.
* comfortable taking legal action, including Court attendance.
* able to provide support in the collection of former tenant arrears (general needs tenures) and aware of the heat billing collections process.
This role requires a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
