R13 Recruitment are exclusively recruiting for a Director of Programmes to join a brilliant charity, Voluntary Norfolk. You will be a key member of the senior leadership team, ensuring the compliant and efficient delivery of essential services within the local community.
This is a full time, permanent role working Monday – Friday, and is offering a salary of up to £47,800 depending on experience.

The day to day
* Strategic Leadership & Vision: Contribute to the overall leadership and direction of the charity, upholding core values, and supporting the development of the business plan and strategic goals.
* Programme Management & Compliance: Oversee the delivery of programmes, ensuring they meet performance, financial, and regulatory standards, while promoting continuous improvement and safeguarding.
* Risk Management & Financial Oversight: Ensure all programmes have sustainable budgets, manage risks, and maintain financial viability, while ensuring cost efficiencies and compliance with legal and ethical standards.
* Stakeholder Engagement & Partnerships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including partners, commissioners, and communities, to promote the organisations work and influence sector development.
* Organisational Growth & Quality Assurance: Lead efforts to improve programme outcomes, secure new opportunities for growth, and develop systems for monitoring, evaluation, and accreditation to maintain high standards and impact.
You will have/be
* Senior management experience, ideally within a charity organisation and with a Level 5 management qualification.
* Experience within a multi-agency environment, setting budgets and ensuring an efficient and compliant programme delivery, while continually looking to improve services.
* Natural leadership qualities and ability to work closely with, and manage, both internal and external stakeholders.
* Expertise as a safeguarding lead for children and/or vulnerable adults.
* Adaptable & confident in delivering change.
* Previous experience and knowledge of working with confidentiality and data protection.
* Strong IT knowledge.
