About the Role:
• In this varied role, you will carry out a mix of planned preventative (PPM) and reactive maintenance across campus, ensuring work is completed promptly to minimise disruption to students.
• You’ll investigate issues, determine the cause of damage, and either complete the necessary repairs yourself or coordinate with sub-contractors.
• You’ll uphold high professional standards and actively promote a positive health and safety culture, adhering to existing infrastructure and regulations.
• Ensure all buildings and services comply with statutory requirements and the Health and Safety at Work Act, providing necessary information to the Facilities Administration Team for compliance.
About You:
• Experience in general building maintenance, including fault finding, repairs and installations.
• A recognised qualifications or apprenticeship in a relevant trade such as electrical, mechanical, plumbing, or carpentry.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team and provide excellent customer service.
• Able to work both autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Hold a full UK driving licence.
