Here at MJ Quinn, we are looking to recruit a Maintenance Operations Supervisor for their exciting and growing organisation.

About the role
The successful candidate will oversee a team of Engineers, including Electricians, Plumbers, Gas Engineers, and Joiners, ensuring they are trained and guided. You should be a committed individual who is strong-minded, with a passion for developing your own skills and those of others. Your responsibilities will include:
* Reviewing skills and performance of all technicians.
* Auditing technicians’ work practices, ethics, customer skills, and communication.
* Developing individual training plans based on development needs.
* Conducting site-based audits within a defined region.
* Checking PPE, plant, equipment, vehicles, and stock.
* Auditing company and customer documentation.
* Maintaining communication across multiple office locations.
* Providing regional office-based assistance as needed.
* Assisting with estimates when required.
* Providing technical support for customer and site escalations.
* Attending training sessions and cascading content to technicians (Train the Trainer qualification is beneficial).
* Researching and proposing additional training to add value.
* Reviewing technician performance and focus areas.
* Providing IT support and training related to tablet applications, mobile solutions, and customer interfaces.
* Planning and managing overtime, call-out rota, and leave to ensure 24/7 coverage.
Experience required:
* Experience in training, supporting, and mentoring technicians.
* Experience managing engineers within Facilities Management is preferred.
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing engineers.
* Trade experience in Gas, Electrical, or Air Conditioning is advantageous.
* Positive, professional attitude with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
* Ability to work independently and use initiative.
* A full UK driving license with no more than 6 penalty points and no bans in the last 12 months.
