This role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation of the front office, providing a welcoming environment for visitors, staff, and students. Key Responsibilities:
* Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
* Answer, screen, and forward incoming calls.
* Manage visitor access by following security procedures (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges).
* Direct visitors to the appropriate contact within the school.
* Compile student attendance records and liaise with the Attendance Officer.
* Handle emergencies and immediate issues in line with school policies.
* Provide reception cover for school events, including evening functions.
* Assist with school coach services, updating parents on travel delays.
* Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection guidelines.
* Keep the reception area tidy and well-stocked with necessary materials.
* Sort and distribute incoming/outgoing mail and deliveries.
* Order office supplies and monitor inventory within budget.
