Key responsibilities include forecasting accuracy, inventory management, strategic planning for seasonal events, and driving continuous improvement in systems and processes. The role requires a wealth of experience in planning roles, strong analytical and leadership skills, expertise in ERP systems, and familiarity with UK retail operations. Success in the role relies on customer focus, adaptability, teamwork, and a drive for excellence in a fast-paced FMCG environment. Forecasting and Inventory Management: Enhance forecast accuracy, manage inventory levels, and minimize waste while maintaining service efficiency. Strategic Planning: Develop medium-to-long-term capacity plans and oversee seasonal campaigns and customer promotions. Systems and Process Improvement: Maintain and upgrade planning systems, ensure proper setup for new products, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (Commercial, Operations) and external stakeholders (Suppliers, Customers) to optimize supply chain performance. Leadership: Manage and develop the demand planning team, chair key meetings, and uphold high standards of planning and execution.
