Cityworx are recruiting for an experienced Care Coordinator to join an established complex care business based in the Guildford area.
As a Care Coordinator, your role is to assist the Registered Manager in organising the day-to-day running of the service where you will be responsible for the management and scheduling of service user rotas as well as participating in the on-call rota.
Requirements:
1. NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care
2. 1 year experience as a Care Coordinator
3. Willing to participate in the on-call rota
4. Experience of managing care packages
Main Duties:
1. Scheduling and managing service user rotas to meet staffing needs
2. Assisting in the completion of audits
3. Supporting in the development of care plans
4. Managing and supporting staff so they can perform their roles safely
5. Working alongside the management team to ensure all quality standards and procedures are adhered to
6. Participating and attending regular meetings
7. Participating in the recruitment of support workers
8. Managing and reviewing performance of complex care support workers through probation periods, management practices, supervision sessions, spot checks, training records, and an annual appraisal
9. Managing complaints and ensuring managers are informed of these
