Job title: Production Planner
Location: outskirts of Tewkesbury, commutable from Gloucester, Cheltenham, Tewkesbury, Worcester and surrounding areas
Salary: We're looking to pay £35,000 - £40,000 based on your capabilities and experienceso there is room for discussion to meet your salary requirements, just get in touch for more information.

Production Planner - Role & Responsibilities:
Producing loading plans for each CNC machine including manual operations (deburr, inspection, packing, dispatch etc.)
Monitoring workload against machine shop capacity
Monitoring production output against the plan, flagging items for prioritisation
Monitoring delivery to customer performance, measured against planned customer schedules
Reporting production levels to senior management team
Checking stock for material availability
Creating purchase orders on stock control system and generating correct paperwork
Creating requisition orders forsub contractorsto complete outsourced operations
Attending production meetings to report current and planned figures
Producing daily, weekly and monthly reports
Daily use of the company's MRP system
Production Planner - Skills & Experience needed:
Experience of working as a Production Planner in a CNC Machine Shop environment or very similar
Strong organisational skills, able to establish priorities, whilst managing multiple tasks
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Capable of producing reports and presenting details to senior management
Confident using Microsoft Office software Excel, Word.
Experience of working with planning software (ERP/MRP) the brand isnt important
