SEMH Teaching Assistant - Kidderminster
Aspire Agency is seeking a dedicated SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Kidderminster. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to support students with SEMH needs in an engaging and supportive learning environment.
Role Details:
* Location: Kidderminster
* Schedule: 5 days per week, term-time only
* Start Date: ASAP
* Contract Type: Ongoing temp-to-perm opportunity
* Transport: Must drive, as there is no public transport to the school
What We Are Looking For:
* Experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs, challenging behaviour, or additional learning needs
* A calm, patient, and resilient approach to supporting students
* Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build positive relationships
* Experience using de-escalation techniques and trauma-informed approaches is desirable
* Happy to do personal care
* A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
