Job Title: Chef
We are currently recruiting an ambitious Chef to help us create exceptional food experiences for Chartwells on a full-time basis, contracted to 37.5 hours per week. As a Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and serving food that brightens our clients' and customers' days, within the market-leading food service company in the UK. Shift pattern overview:
* Monday to Friday: Full-time (Days)
* Saturday and Sunday: Flexible or off
Key responsibilities include:
* Preparing high-quality, delicious food
* Implementing menu changes
* Identifying opportunities to improve food services
* Acting on customer feedback for continuous improvement
* Creating new menus and food concepts
* Representing Chartwells positively
* Monitoring inventory levels
* Maintaining hygiene standards through kitchen cleaning
* Ensuring compliance with food handling, hygiene, and health & safety regulations
Our ideal candidate will:
* Be passionate about great-tasting food and customer service
* Hold a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent
* Have supervisory experience
* Have experience in a similar Chef role
* Possess a Food Hygiene certificate
* Be flexible in working hours
