The purpose of the Project Services Manager role is to lead and be responsible for all aspects associated with the implementation of contract management and procurement of capital projects on the Barnard Castle site.
In this role you will…
* Accountable for the management of Contracts to ensure safety, quality, budgetary and legislative standards are met, including contract renewal, financial audits and organising regular KPI updates.
* Accountable for the management of monthly application process in accordance with contract terms.
* Accountable for the management of Procurement for Projects, including high value equipment, in accordance with GSK procurement policies.
* Provide regular, accurate, progress reports, cash flow and cost of completion forecasts to the Capital Lead and the site Capital Review Committee to ensure projects are on track.
* Co-ordinate the 90 day project look ahead with sub-contractors and term contractors, to ensure appropriate manning levels are available to deliver the capital plan within agreed timeframe.
* All aspects of Project Capitalisations, from project approval to transfer to fixed assets.
* Accountable for the day to day management and delivery of projects to ensure safety, quality, budgetary and legislative standards are met.
* Ensure that the levels of fiscal authority and controls are understood and complied with by project team members and that timely support is provided when commercial audits are conducted.
Why you?
Qualifications & Skills:
* Qualified to HNC level in appropriate discipline.
* Extensive experience of contract management / procurement and budgetary control.
* Ability to develop and interpret contracts.
* SAP Procurement and Financials input and reporting.
* Highly proficient in the use of MS PowerPoint and MS Excel applications.
* Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing (cGMP and QMS) environment.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
* University Degree or equivalent.
