Role Overview
The Corporate Deal Executive will play a pivotal role in managing the end-to-end business sale process, concentrating on deal origination, structuring, and execution. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional with a keen interest in corporate finance, particularly in managing client relationships and maximizing deal success.
Key Responsibilities
1. Client Management: Serve as the primary contact for clients throughout the transaction, offering guidance on the sale process, valuations, and market positioning.
2. Deal Execution: Lead the execution of sale mandates, from initial preparation through to completion, ensuring client objectives are achieved.
3. Research & Targeting: Work closely with the research team to identify and approach potential acquirers, using Hilton Smythe’s proprietary databases and market insights.
4. Marketing Strategy: Develop and refine marketing materials, including confidential teaser documents and information memoranda, to attract buyer interest.
5. Pipeline Management: Oversee a portfolio of active sales, coordinating with internal teams to track progress and maintain clear communication with clients and potential acquirers.
6. Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends and insights to provide strategic advice for clients.
7. Collaboration with Partners: Work closely with legal and financial advisors to support seamless transitions through due diligence and negotiation phases.
Requirements
1. Experience in corporate finance, business brokerage, or mergers and acquisitions, with a proven record in deal-making.
2. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate financials and market data to support strategic decision-making.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a consultative approach to client engagement.
4. Ability to work effectively within a team and coordinate across departments to ensure successful deal outcomes.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM software, and data analysis tools.
6. Relevant degree or qualifications in business, finance, or a related field are advantageous.
7. ACA/ACCA or CFA preferential.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £27,500.00-£40,000.00 per year
