Salary: Circa £40-50K DOE, plus uncapped bonus and car allowance
Experienced Business Development Manager / Technical Sales Executive Needed in Liquid Waste Industry
Location: Covering Bristol, Bath and the surrounding areas
Role Overview:
1. Securing profitable contracts for liquid waste management services and large one-off jobs, particularly for tankered services.
2. Collaborating with the technical team to ensure the efficient handling of materials.
3. Engaging in cold calling, lead generation, and following up on inquiries to maintain a strong sales pipeline.
4. Delivering presentations, providing consultations, and pitching solution-based services to potential clients.
Experience Required:
1. Proven experience in achieving targets in a similar new business role within the waste management or brokered waste services industry.
2. Strong technical understanding with the ability to communicate effectively with technical teams.
3. Sufficient exposure to hazardous waste to understand pre-acceptance requirements.
4. Willingness to travel regionally and spend two days per week at the depot. A UK driving license is essential.
5. Chemistry-based qualifications are a plus, but the primary focus is on sales skills.
