The role Bristol Institute for Learning and Teaching seeks to appoint a Lecturer (Academic Development) to teach and assess as part of the CREATE scheme ). This role will actively contribute to the enhancement of teaching, learning and assessment across the University of Bristol. The role is part-time (0.4 FTE) and for a fixed term Jan 2025 to July 2025. This could suit a secondment within the University. What will you be doing? Appointment to this position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery, design and quality of the Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice and internal HEA Fellowship Scheme (key elements of the CREATE scheme ). The appointee will also contribute to other enhancement activities, including training for teaching support staff, personal tutees and research supervisors, and programme directors. You should apply if The successful candidate will have successful experience of teaching on academic development schemes which lead to HEA Fellowship, including related administration. They will possess a deep understanding of the higher education learning environment in the UK and will be passionate about teaching and learning and enhancing the student experience. The candidate will themselves be recognised as either an HEA Fellow or HEA Senior Fellow.
