About the School
Founded by the Sisters of Notre Dame in 1869, Notre Dame is a well-established coeducational Catholic Academy and a member of St Joseph’s Multi Academy Trust. About the Role
* To be the Head of Year and support the education, development, welfare, and safety of students.
* To be the first point of call for students, staff, parents, and visitors in regards to the year group.
* To take responsibility for the implementation of PSHE to the year group.
* To assist in behaviour management strategies and the smooth implementation of the behaviour policy (including the manning of reflection, on call, and patrol).
* To work with the attendance team to improve attendance in your year group.
* To monitor individual students’ needs and report to the Assistant Headteacher as applicable.
* To liaise with SLT, SENCO, and external agencies in order to coordinate areas of support as appropriate.
Personal Qualities
* Experience of working with children
* Knowledge of classroom environment
* Experience of line management
* Good organisation skills
* Ability to work as PA
