Are you an experienced teacher looking for flexible work in the Halifax area? We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable supply teacher to join our team. You will have the opportunity to work across a variety of schools in the area, providing excellent education to students at all levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering engaging and effective lessons in the absence of the regular class teacher
- Managing classroom behavior and creating a positive learning environment
- Assisting with the development and implementation of lesson plans
- Providing feedback to schools on student progress and any issues encountered
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Proven experience in a teaching role, ideally within primary or secondary schools
- Strong classroom management skills
- Ability to adapt to different teaching environments and subject areas
- A passion for teaching and making a positive impact on students' learning
