We are seeking a dedicated and professional Medical Receptionist/Administrator to join our private healthcare team. As the first point of contact for patients, the ideal candidate will provide a warm and welcoming environment while managing various administrative tasks. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation and growth of our medical practice and delivering exceptional service to our patients.
Duties
1. Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
2. Deliver a first-class patient experience from initial contact to follow-up.
3. Answer calls and emails promptly and professionally.
4. Maintain the reception area to immaculate standards.
5. Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
6. Schedule appointments and maintain an organised calendar.
7. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality is upheld at all times.
8. Process patient forms, and payments as required (phone and in person).
9. Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
10. Coordinate with medical staff to ensure seamless communication regarding patient care.
Skills we are looking for:
1. Strong office administration skills with attention to detail.
2. A polite and confident telephone and email manner.
3. A positive, can-do attitude and a team player mentality.
4. Proficient in using office equipment and software applications relevant to medical reception duties.
5. A proactive mindset and the ability to take initiative and prioritise your tasks effectively.
6. Empathy and strong interpersonal skills to interact positively with patients from diverse backgrounds.
7. Follow up with patients after consultations to ensure satisfaction.
8. Complete training (e.g., Emergency First Aid and CPR)
9. Hospitality roles are highly valued.
10. Medical experience is advantageous but not essential.
