Manager - Estimating and Sales (Steelwork)
Remote role with occasional visits to HQ.
Salary: £55,000 - £70,000
Our client, a leading UK structural steelwork provider with a 50-year legacy, is seeking a new Manager for their Estimating and Sales team who can contribute to expanding the company's commercial operations. This position allows for remote and flexible working.
The client is one of the few companies in the UK with accreditation for execution Class 4 working, allowing them to take on the most technically demanding projects across a broad range of industries such as Energy, Defence, and Sports.
Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Convert sales opportunities into project revenue
🔹 Lead, recruit, and manage the estimating and sales team
🔹 Produce accurate reports sales pipeline to senior leadership with a direct report to the
Commercial Director
🔹 Liaise with subtrades, clients, engineers, and architects
🔹 Driving strategy and developing client relationships
What We're Looking For:
🔹 Experience across the entire project lifecycle from design and manufacture through to construction
🔹 Experience in Steel Construction is a must
🔹 Proven experience in pricing complex projects ranging from 50 to 3,000 tonnes
🔹 A BSc/HNC in Building Studies fields such as Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, etc
🔹 Demonstrated success in business development and sales
🔹 Experience reviewing Tekla models for constructability of structures.
