Data Analyst
The role involves collaborating closely with fellow analysts to extract, compile, and validate data for inclusion in a wide range of reports, ensuring data accuracy and integrity throughout the process. This role involves auditing datasets to identify inconsistencies or errors before final inclusion in reports, as well as leveraging Business Intelligence (BI) software to create, maintain, and schedule reports. Additionally, it requires managing the entire reporting lifecycle, from data extraction and aggregation to the design and automation of recurring reports. The goal is to deliver reliable, insightful, and timely reports that support informed decision-making across the organisation.
Data Analyst's Benefits:
Salary: £33k (DOE), Bonus, 23 days holidays plus BH, Pension, Training & Development & Company events.
Data Analyst's Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the execution of the audit process.
* Analyse trends, review forecast exceptions, and develop a robust demand plan to optimise service and minimise costs.
* Provide critical data for formal improvement initiatives and proactively identify opportunities for process enhancements.
* Identify and resolve data gaps in the ERP and forecasting systems.
* Conduct periodic audits between the ERP system.
* Develop proficiency in PowerBI for report and dashboard creation.
Data Analyst's Education and Experience
* Power BI Desktop and Report Builder (this is the central skill set of the role)
* SQL Database Skills (create views and queries)
* MS Excel Advanced (including charts, lookup tables, pivot tables, presentation / report formatting skills)
* Data reconciliation
* Ability to organise own workload based on priorities and deadlines
* Ability to work alone and as part of a team
