Position: SEND Teaching Assistant

Are you a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team to support our Bradford Primary Schools in the BD4 and BD5 area.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with SEN, ensuring their individual needs are met.
Assist classroom teachers in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and adapting lesson plans to accommodate diverse learning needs.
Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and included.
Utilize Team Teach techniques to manage challenging behavior and promote positive interactions.
Provide personal care assistance to students as required, maintaining dignity and respect at all times.
Requirements:
Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting.
Experience working with students with SEN, particularly those with complex needs.
Preferably hold a Team Teach qualification or have relevant training in behavior management techniques.
Experience in providing personal care support to students is desirable.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when required.
