Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive People Assistant with CIPD Level 3 qualification to support our People Team.
The role involves coordinating key HR processes such as inductions, absence management, changes to contract letters, training coordination, and providing Employee Relations (ER) support. You will work closely with various departments to ensure smooth HR operations and contribute to fostering a positive and productive workplace.

Responsibilities & Duties
Induction Coordination:
* Organize and coordinate employee inductions, ensuring all new hires are onboarded effectively and efficiently.
* Prepare induction materials and ensure all necessary documentation and equipment are ready for new starters.
* Assist with the scheduling and delivery of induction sessions, liaising with relevant stakeholders.
* Absence Management:
* Track and record employee absence data in accordance with company policies.
* Provide guidance to line managers on absence procedures and assist with return-to-work interviews.
* Generate absence reports and assist in identifying patterns or concerns.
Changes to Contract Letters:
* Draft and issue letters for changes to employee contracts, including role changes, promotions, salary adjustments, and other contractual amendments.
* Ensure all contract changes comply with legal requirements and company policies.
* Maintain accurate records of contract changes.
Training Coordination:
* Coordinate internal and external training programs for employees, ensuring logistical arrangements are in place.
* Maintain and update the training calendar and track employee training records.
* Assist with the organization of training events, including booking venues, equipment, and refreshments.
* Employee Relations (ER) Support:
* Provide general ER support to managers and employees, offering guidance on employee relations issues, such as performance management, disciplinary matters, and grievances.
* Assist in the preparation and documentation of disciplinary meetings, investigations, and hearings.
* Support in the administration of employee relations cases, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
General HR Administration:
* Provide administrative support to the HR team as needed, including preparing reports, maintaining employee records, and handling HR queries.
* Assist with HR projects and initiatives as required.

Knowledge:
* CIPD Level 3 qualification in Human Resources or equivalent.
* Previous experience in an HR assistant or people support role is advantageous.
* Strong understanding of HR processes, policies, and employment law.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
* A proactive and problem-solving approach to work.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
Desirable:
