Responsibilities: This role is suitable for a nurse, social worker or a therapist with caseload management experience. You must be confident to carry out mental state examination during assessment. To provide support for young person and their family; must be able to provide supervision for junior staff, must have experience of working with MDT and must be a team player.
Skills: The post holder will be a nurse with the appropriate professional or regulatory body (NMC).They will have clinical experience working with children and young people with emotional wellbeing and mental difficulties, they will have significant experience of delivering clinically robust mental health assessments, care planning and risk. They will have substantial CAMHS/EWMHS clinical experience. CBT, DBT experience is desirable, but not necessary.
Job requirements are as follows:
- Strong communication skills
- ASAP start
- All shift patterns available to suit
The successful candidate must have the following criteria:
- Minimum of 6 months’ UK experience within an NHS Trust or Care Home
- Be up to date with PMVA/Breakaway/MAPA training
-Be able to provide UK references, Immunisations report and must have a valid NMC pin.
