We are looking to appoint someone who can help the trust develop specialist areas within the Spine Department which will help it maintain and enhance its status as a Specialist Provider in NHS. Main duties of the job We are looking for a full time Consultant in Spinal Surgery. The appointee will be expected to provide advice and expertise through the full range of adult spinal disorders, both elective and emergency. The successful candidate will be expected to share the on-call rota (currently 1 in 9) with his / her colleagues. The appointee will play a role in provision of spinal tumour service. We expect the appointee to be able to help drive research projects in the department. The contract for this is whole time - 10 PAs.
