To work as an autonomous practitioner in undertaking ophthalmic imaging using a variety of techniques, for patients of all ages, ranging from children to the elderly and who have various communication abilities. To work within the Ophthalmology virtual clinic, utilising additional clinical skills to complete a full assessment in line with the clinical protocols/procedures. Participate in the theoretical and clinical teaching of ophthalmic imaging to colleagues, students or other health professional visiting the department Maintain and enhance professional knowledge and skills required to undertake the role of ophthalmic science practitioner To participate in departmental audit and research projects Ensure compliance with infection control procedures. Ensure compliance with our clinical governance framework.
