Internal Job Title: LEES Project Manager Business: Lucy Electric Location: Thame Job Reference No: 3918 Job Purpose: We have an exciting opportunity, for an experienced Project Manager to join our team at Lucy Electric on a fixed term contract. The role will work closely with the various department heads, customers and suppliers. The projects will be wide and varied from new product introduction and site improvements to commercial project management with customers across the UK and overseas. Business Overview: Lucy Electric is an international leader in intelligent secondary power distribution products and solutions, with features such as remote operation and monitoring. Linking energy generation to consumption, the business specialises in high-performance medium and low-voltage switchgear for utility, industrial and commercial applications. Job Context: The Project Manager will be a key member of the Lucy Electric Team. As part of our team, you will support the planning and implementation of change management projects. You will lead and deliver more complex and challenging projects, both UK and global. This will be working with your peers across various departments across LEUK and EMS to ensure a smooth execution and delivery of projects. Job Dimensions: The role will be based in Thame, Oxfordshire, at Lucy Electric’s manufacturing plant and office, with hybrid working option available. The role will work closely with the Executive Leadership team, HR, Finance, Comms and Energy Services leadership team. Key Accountabilities: The key accountabilities will include: Ensure timely execution of projects and other project related tasks, product launches, meeting deadlines with accuracy. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve successful delivery of projects. Develop and manage both internal and external relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and industry partners. Be able to guide cross functional teams and ensure targets and timelines are met. Manage and deliver multiple projects working with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. Manage multiple teams and individuals ensuring work is planned to the highest standard. Ensure projects and programs are managed successfully. Responsible for assessing the costs of a project and ensuring that the costs are controlled throughout the contract. Manage the design process to ensure compliance with the relevant standards and procedures, and any country specific legislation. Support change management, identify risks and opportunities and introduce cost saving strategies where possible. Communicate effectively with customersQualifications, Knowledge, and Experience Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, and Experience: Strong Project Management experience 5 yrs.
