Duties:
* Prepare hardware specifications and pricing based on client information.
* Complete BoQ’s for client projects.
* Check the accuracy of all outgoing estimates.
* Dealing with client’s queries.
* Data management:
o Input data into our Intec scheduling software, maintaining accuracy.
o Keep NBS partner platform system updated.
o Maintain Intec system.
o Input sales orders onto Sage.
* Inter-departmental collaboration:
o Liaise with sales, procurement, and other teams to fulfil responsibilities.
o Provide support during staff absences due to holidays or sickness.
Responsibilities:
* Support Role: Assist the sales team with contractual and administrative tasks.
* Work Environment: Remote work or at our office in Braintree.
* Time Commitment: Full-time role, normal working hours of 44 hours per week with potential for additional hours.
* Organisational skills and multitasking.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Technical knowledge of relevant products.
Key Skills:
* Proficiency in Outlook, Teams, Excel, and Word.
* Knowledge of Intec scheduling and Sage accounting software preferred.
* Basic mathematical understanding.
* General IT literacy.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Experience:
o Prior experience in estimating and scheduling within the architectural ironmongery industry.
* Education:
o Minimum GCSE/”O” Level in Maths and English.
o GAI Diploma and Reg AI is preferred, but not mandatory.
