I am working with a business that has been around for 40 years who are looking for an office administrator to join the team. This role offers a unique blend of physical and administrative duties. Job overview: The successful candidate will be responsible for processing orders from initiation to the point of dispatch and ensuring high-quality standards are met. Day-to-day duties: Learn product knowledge thoroughly to efficiently convert orders over the phone Produce clear and accurate paperwork for all orders and dispatches Load and unload delivery vehicles to ensure smooth operations in the yard Assist with stock rotation and maintain yard cleanliness Prepare units for dispatch, ensuring they meet the company's quality standards Assist in planning and organising vehicle delivery routes Make occasional deliveries using a company van, adhering to safety and efficiency standards. Required Skills & Qualifications: Strong organisational skills and ability to plan schedules effectively Experience with or willingness to undergo training for forklift operation Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment Good telephone technique and ability to handle orders professionally Enthusiasm and proactive approach to tasks Ability to work effectively in a small team Understanding of Health and Safety regulations in a yard and office environment.
