Responsibilities
As a Regional Account Manager, your tasks will include (but not limited to!):
1. Establishing and maintaining productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts, while also developing new ones.
2. Preparing and executing strategic customer account plans to meet core objectives.
3. Meeting assigned targets for profitable sales volumes and strategic objectives in assigned accounts.
4. Generating and tracking sales leads, and producing meeting reports using CRM where necessary.
5. Providing competent technical support and advice where necessary.
6. Assisting in the development of product support initiatives through from launch to successful market positioning.
7. Maintaining a comprehensive database of key competitor information.
8. Providing all necessary advice and support to the sales representative in terms of customer visits, customer complaints, technical and account problems, pricing, market trends, promoting and monitoring progress on all new sales leads, and producing reports as necessary.
9. Managing the performance of the region, providing a monthly report to include customers and competitor activity plus customer deviation against sales targets.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
10. Degree / HND/ NVQ or equivalent in business studies or related discipline.
11. Relevant expereince within the decorative product industry.
12. Good standard of secondary education.
13. Full UK driving license.
14. Intermediate standard of IT skills, competent use of Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, Outlook), with knowledge of databases.
15. Technical understanding of decorative products.
