Position: Maintenance Engineer
Salary: c£46k
Shifts: 4 on 4 off Rotating days and nights
Key Responsibilities
1. Carrying out planned preventative maintenance activities across the factory.
2. Provision and implementation of solutions in line with the site engineering strategy to reduce downtime.
3. Use of root cause analysis to determine the underlying reasons behind problems and failures, seeking to identify areas for improvement in plant performance.
4. Continual commitment to a PPM culture.
5. Undertaking planned and reactive maintenance on a range of specialist and high-tech equipment.
6. Compliance with all health and safety, food safety, quality, and hygiene standards.
7. Highlighting opportunities for improvements in the maintenance plan and/or failure of components.
Qualifications & Experience
1. You will be qualified to NVQ / City or Guilds or equivalent standard.
2. This is a hands-on engineering role.
3. Experience within FMCG manufacturing.
4. Although this isn't essential, it's beneficial if you have an IEE 18th Edition.
5. Beneficial if you've worked on conveyor systems, mixer, depositor, ovens etc.
6. A proactive approach, with a willingness to learn and develop as there is considerable opportunity for development within the engineering function.
