Your New Role Working in the Healthcare (and Industrial) sector across leading NHS Trusts, private medical hospitals and Industrial customers, this role is responsible for commissioning, service, rapid response call-out and repair of Medical IT systems, Theatre Control Panels, Operating Lights, Medical tables, Turnkey Theatre Packages and additional Industrial products. Whilst working your core duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Commissioning and servicing of medical IT systems, surgeons control panels, theatre operating lights, medical tables and pendants Servicing 3rd party equipment as above Forming part of a call-out system and responding within requirements and timescales Logging all cases and call-outs when working out of hours Representing the company in the best light possible through delivering excellent customer service - This role will be on site dealing with end customers, contractors and hospital staff Completing job specific risk assessments and method statements Support the Industrial Team for on-site technical commissioning and servicing as required Provide remote service monitoring and data analysis Providing on-site training to customers on Bender supplied equipment Attending site meetings as required Uploading programmes on completion of projects Working closely with all departments within the broader company scope, promoting cross-functional working and one team approach What You'll Need To Succeed In order to be considered for this role the following skills, experience and qualifications are ESSENTIAL: Electrician 18th Edition Clean driving licence Electrotechnical Certification Scheme (ECS) JIB gold card SSSTS Card would be preferable DBS checks will be required Knowledge/Skills Medical IT (IPS) Surgeons Control Panels Theatre Operating Lights Medical Tables UPS Auto change over systems Time Management PLCs Prioritising and Planning skills What You'll Get In Return Your core hours are 37.5 per week and typically worked across Monday - Friday (Monday - Thursday 08:00 - 16:00 Friday 08:00 - 14:00). This will attract a basic salary of up to £42000 (DoE) company van. Earning potential is also further enhanced with attractive OT rates of 1.5 and 2.0 as some additional weekend and call out work may be required depending on site access and particular client needs. All accomodation costs are covered and a sustenance payment is also available.
