Responsibilities
* Provide tailored support and intervention to Key Stage 2 (KS2) students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a one-on-one setting
* Create individualised learning plans to address the specific needs of each student
* Deliver engaging and interactive lessons that cater to different learning styles
* Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
* Ensure a holistic approach to student development
Qualifications
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience working with SEN students in a classroom or tutoring setting
* Knowledge of SEN interventions and strategies
* Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
* At least 2 years of experience working with Key Stage 2 students with SEN
* Strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for Key Stage 2
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
* Additional training in SEN support and interventions
This role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis, providing support to KS2 students with SEN in Basildon, Essex. The work environment will be learners' homes, care homes, or local libraries.
