We are pleased to share this exciting opportunity for a Project Manager with our client, a leader in civil infrastructure rail projects based in Ilford. This full-time, permanent position offers a salary of £50k per annum, plus a performance-related bonus.
Our client specialises in ensuring the safety and integrity of critical structures within the rail and highways sectors, including bridges, buildings, and retaining walls. They are looking for a highly motivated Project Manager / Strategic Delivery Manager to oversee the planning and execution of structural inspection and testing schemes across the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Coordination: Develop timelines, allocate resources, and manage budgets for inspections of bridges, buildings, and more.
2. Financial Management: Monitor budgets, implement cost control measures, and ensure efficient resource utilisation.
3. Team Leadership: Mentor and support a team of engineers and graduates, fostering their professional development.
4. Client Communication: Act as the primary liaison, providing updates and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
5. Quality Assurance: Oversee the preparation and review of inspection reports, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
6. Safety Management: Ensure adherence to safety procedures and update risk assessments as needed.
7. Subcontractor Oversight: Manage subcontractor performance to uphold safety and quality standards.
