What you will do:
1. Support the Team Manager in overseeing the Children with Disabilities team, ensuring high-quality social work practice.
2. Assist in the assessment and development of care plans for children and young people with disabilities.
3. Provide supervision and guidance to a team of social workers and support staff.
4. Collaborate with families, carers, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for children's needs.
5. Monitor and evaluate service delivery to ensure compliance with statutory requirements and policies.
6. Lead team meetings and contribute to strategic planning and development.
7. Manage caseloads and ensure timely and effective intervention.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
1. Degree or equivalent in social work.
2. Current Social Work England registration.
3. Significant frontline experience in Social Services within the UK working as a qualified Social Worker.
