Who You Are An experienced Social Worker with a background in the child welfare system is needed. You have extensive child protection and court experience, working in a strength-based way with children and their families to ensure safety and thriving. You are knowledgeable in child care legislation and excel in communication. You effectively work with the child’s network, multi-agency partners, and team colleagues. You are registered with Social Work England without any annotations or restrictions on practice. What the Job Involves This office-based role requires compliance with NYC's defined practice model, which is based on systemic principles, signs of safety, and family-seeing methodology. The job involves working closely with children and families, ensuring their safety and ability to thrive while coordinating with various partners and colleagues. You must hold a full driver’s license and have access to a vehicle. Office hours are Monday to Thursday from 8.30 am to 5 pm and Friday from 8.30 am to 4.30 pm.
