We are currently looking for talented analysts to join the growing Signature Team within Technology in Rolls-Royce Submarines. The work provides a vital role in the building our signature capability across the business to support continuous emerging signature challenges in the Submarines Enterprise.
As an analyst in the Signature Team, you will be delivering analytical aspects of the signature work and across the business, as well as capability development across Rolls-Royce Submarines, that will ensure we develop the analytical tools and behaviours to remain fit for purpose and are able to drive a change in design philosophy.

What you will be doing:
You will be conducting analysis and providing advice and guidance to the boat programmes to ensure NSRP signature targets are met.
1. Strategic thinking to build on the business vision for the future of the Signature capability.
2. Liaising with the boat programmes, customer and various stakeholders in the signature enterprise.
3. Undertaking work relating to the design, analysis (including V&V and UQ), and testing of components and systems to meet signature targets for all boat programmes and develop and demonstrate improved signature concepts.
4. Provide technical guidance to design teams and develop the capability across the business as well as working with the wider enterprise to continuously improve on capability.

5. Bachelor's degree, Master's or PhD in Engineering or regional equivalent qualification or equivalent technical capability based on practical knowledge and experience. Noise & Vibration experience is preferred but not required.
6. Demonstrate interest in noise & vibration assessments.
7. Able to prioritise tasks and work effectively on multiple projects at the same time.
8. An ability to apply logical, analytical and innovative thinking on a range of technical problems.
9. Ability to communicate effectively with team, across disciplines and across businesses.
10. Experience of Research and development, analytical and test validation activities.
11. Desire to actively promote, encourage and support the identification and implementation of continuous improvement / s (of tools, processes and methods) both within and outside their immediate sphere and prompt action across the wider team.

To work for Rolls-Royce Submarines you need to hold a Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if you don’t currently already have this in place.
