The Role As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimising CI/CD pipelines to improve software delivery across a range of applications. You will work closely with development teams to ensure seamless deployments, introduce best-in-class tooling, and drive the adoption of cloud and containerisation technologies. This is a hands-on role where you will have real influence over how DevOps practices evolve within the organisation. Key Responsibilities Define and implement DevSecOps strategies across multiple applications. Develop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for Java, React, and Python-based applications. Lead the migration to a cloud-native deployment model using containerisation. Build scalable and reusable DevOps tooling to support software teams. Work closely with development teams to enhance observability, logging, and monitoring. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to automate cloud infrastructure. Troubleshoot and resolve build, deployment, and performance issues in test and production environments. Skills & Experience Required Strong hands-on experience in DevOps and CI/CD pipeline automation (Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions preferred). Proven development experience in Java, React (NPM), or Python. Knowledge of containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, PowerShell, or Python. Experience working in agile, fast-paced environments. Strong understanding of cloud platforms, networking, and application infrastructure. Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, Datadog, or Prometheus.
