Job Description
As an ACA/ACCA Part Qualified Accountant based in the firm's Yeovil offices, you will be responsible for the preparation of financial statements for a variety of clients, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies. You will also be involved in tax compliance work, manage juniors by reviewing bookkeeping work and providing guidance, and may have the opportunity to participate in audit work, depending on your preferences, motivations, and experience. Your responsibilities and involvement with clients, as well as wider accounting and tax project work, will increase over time as you develop within the team and role. You will be encouraged to progress and develop your career with the support of highly experienced, qualified professionals around you, combined with study support for those looking to pursue further qualifications.
The Successful Applicant
For this Part Qualified Accountant role, you may be AAT qualified and/or part ACA/ACCA. You should have a background in accountancy practice, with at least two to three years of experience or more in preparing year-end accounts, tax, and providing other services for clients within a UK firm of accountants of any size. You should be looking to progress in your career and seek an opportunity within a leading firm of chartered accountants that offers a path for development.
