Role Overview:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the teaching and learning process within our institution. You will work closely with teachers and students to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment. From providing one-on-one assistance to facilitating group activities, you will contribute to the overall success and well-being of our students.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist teachers in the planning and delivery of lessons, including the preparation of teaching materials and resources.
* Provide individualized support to students with special educational needs or learning difficulties, ensuring their inclusion and participation in classroom activities.
* Foster a positive and supportive learning environment by building rapport with students and promoting a culture of respect and cooperation.
* Help to manage classroom behavior and maintain discipline, in accordance with school policies and procedures.
* Support students during examinations and assessments, including the administration of tests and the recording of results.
* Collaborate with colleagues and parents/guardians to monitor student progress and address any concerns or challenges that may arise.
* Contribute to the wider life of the school community through participation in extracurricular activities, events, and initiatives.
Requirements:
* Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role within an educational setting is desirable but not essential.
* A genuine passion for education and a commitment to supporting the academic and personal development of students.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/guardians.
* Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt your approach to meet the diverse needs of students.
* A proactive and collaborative attitude, with a willingness to contribute to the overall success of the school community.
* Relevant qualifications or training in education, childcare, or a related field would be advantageous.
