Senior Technical Support Analyst (Microsoft 365 Specialist) – 5408

Location: Taunton, Hammersmith or Birmingham
Our client is seeking a Senior Service Desk Analyst for a well-established MSP, to be based in either their Taunton, Summerset office, Hammersmith, London office, or Birmingham office, with 2 days remote working.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide 3rd line technical support to clients, specialising in Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint & Teams, etc.).
2. Manage and resolve complex issues related to desktop environments, including hardware and software configurations.
3. Support network infrastructure, including routers, firewalls, switches, and VPN setups.
4. Troubleshoot and resolve escalated tickets from the 2nd line support team.
5. Perform system administration tasks, including Active Directory, Azure AD, and other cloud-based platforms.
6. Plan, implement, and manage migration projects, particularly around Microsoft 365 and other cloud solutions.
7. Monitor system performance and ensure high availability for business-critical services.
8. Liaise with external vendors and service providers to resolve issues when required.
9. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior support staff.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
2. Experience with scripting and automation tools (PowerShell).
3. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 endpoint management, including deployment services and policy management.
4. Strong skills in troubleshooting Windows and MacOS, Office suites, and other desktop applications.
5. Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting network devices and configurations, including VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs.
6. Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and Azure AD.
7. Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and tools, such as firewalls, antivirus, and patch management.
8. Excellent communication and customer service skills to interact with clients and internal stakeholders in a clear, supportive manner.
9. Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert.
10. Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery solutions.
11. Experience in managing hybrid cloud environments.
12. Familiarity with ITIL best practices.
