Based in Lancashire, this Multi Academy Trust are in a position to hire an experienced Finance Manager join the growing Trust. With a proven track record of adding value to each of the schools under their leadership, they currently have an interest and responsibility for both secondary and primary schools. With further growth planned, and a potential merge, the Trust maintain a focused and dedicated senior leadership team. Overseeing the accounting activities across both primary and secondary education, they are now seeking an experienced and dynamic Finance Manager to enable and facilitate the future direction of the trust. Taking the lead on all financial activity this role will lead on the month end duties, and manage a small team in the central head office.
Your New Role As Finance Manager:
As FM you shall manage and co-ordinate the financial requirements and processes across the Trust for each of the schools. Supervising a small team of 3, you shall take the lead on month-end tasks, and help stakeholders to understand the numbers through close working and partnering. A varied and rewarding position, where no day is the same you shall work closely with the business and aim to improve process along the way.
Focusing on month end management accounting, budget preparation and the forecasting process, this position will enable decision making and take the lead on ensuring accounts are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Experience & Qualifications Required To Apply:
To be considered for this role you shall have experience within the sector, highly motivated, financially astute and able to deliver effective month-end accounting, you shall have a proven track record of adding value in a similar role. Either formally qualified, or QBE you shall have the experience across month-end and be an effective communicator as there is partnering with non-financial personnel on a regular basis.
