Job Summary:
We are currently seeking an experienced Project Supervisor to join the team in the North West Region of England, covering areas including Preston, Wigan, and Warrington.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise project teams, providing guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
* Coordinate project activities, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and timelines.
* Utilise project management tools such as Confluence and Visio to document progress and facilitate communication.
* Monitor project performance metrics and implement improvements as necessary.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective resource allocation and task completion.
* Manage stakeholder expectations through regular updates and transparent communication.
* Implement best practices in project management, leveraging systems like Salesforce and ServiceNow for efficiency.
* Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential challenges.
* Liaise with the Project Manager to maximise efficiency of resources on-site.
* Manage daily on-site labour, including directly employed staff and contractors.
* Coordinate with procurement and suppliers regarding materials and sub-contract labour.
* Participate in weekly project calls and support the completion of monthly procurement and product reports.
* Ensure all project completion procedures are followed, including commissioning and client manuals.
* Proactively support recruitment efforts for additional project engineering resources as required.
Please note: The ability to travel to client sites is essential for this role.
Qualifications & Skills:
Essential:
* Project engineering experience in security or M&E disciplines.
* Proven experience in client relationship management.
* Strong background in team management and site supervision.
* Experience in the preparation of RAMS to a high standard.
* Ideally, experience working in electricity substations and CDM regulations would be advantageous.
* SSSTS or SMSTS qualification is beneficial.
* Minimum of one year of project supervision experience in fire and security (required).
* Full, clean UK driving licence (required).
