CONTRACT DETAILS: Job Title - English Teacher Level - Key stage 3&4 Start date – ASAP End date – July 2025 Contract type - Temporary Full time Rate of pay - £120 - £224 per day (PAYE and Umbrella available) Hours - 8:15 am - 15:30 pm Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet curriculum objectives. Teach English literature, language, and writing skills to students in accordance with their age and ability. Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to drive improvement. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement. Prepare students for exams and standardized tests through tailored instruction and resources. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student performance and development. Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to enhance the overall educational experience. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. Strong knowledge of the English curriculum and teaching strategies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best. Experience in using technology and multimedia resources in teaching. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
