Key Stage 1 (KS1) Teacher Rotherham, S63 £162.00 - £223.00 per day Start date: February 2025 Contract type: Temp - perm following 12 weeks successful temporary placement Working hours: Negotiable, term time only Unique School Solutions are supporting a small, community Primary School in the S63 area of Rotherham who are needing a Key Stage 1 Teacher. The role will be teaching a mixed Year 1/2 class with high SEND needs on an ongoing basis. You will be expected to plan, deliver and mark schemes of work in line with National Curriculum standards, as well as manage a small team of Teaching Assistants who are allocated to your class. This is a part-time job, and the school are open to negotiations around your working pattern. Ideally they are looking for someone who can work 5 afternoons a week however, they could also look at 3 full days if this works better for you. The job is to start in February 2025 and for the right person could lead to a permanent job after 12 weeks. About the school:

Essential requirements for the role:
* PGCE and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Referenceable school based experience for at least 3 months in the last 2 years
* Year 1 and 2 curriculum knowledge
* The ability to build rapport with young learners
* Knowledge and experience of teaching children with high levels of SEND
* Experience with Phonics is advantageous.
