Our client BAE Systems, operating in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking a dedicated Inventory Controller to join their team based at RAF Coningsby on a contract basis. As an Inventory Controller, you will be responsible for various logistics and inventory management tasks, crucial for maintaining and rebuilding military aircraft. Key Responsibilities: Managing inventory and demand planning for aircraft maintenance Utilising MJDI (Military Joint Defence Inventory) for logistics operations Coordinating logistics tasks to support the rebuilding of three aircrafts over the next 2-3 years Ensuring efficient GR (Goods Received) storage and handling procedures Overseeing all aspects of aircraft maintenance inventory Collaborating with military personnel to ensure seamless logistical support Job Requirements: Experience in demand planning Strong MJDI experience is essential Previous military logistics background is highly beneficial, including experience in RAF, Army, or Navy logistics Understanding of comprehensive aircraft maintenance processes Ability to work full-time on site at RAF Coningsby Excellent organisational and coordination skills In this role, you will be part of a dynamic and essential team, playing a critical role in the maintenance and operational readiness of military aircraft.
