Job Opportunity: Catering Assistant
We have a vacancy within our team for a catering assistant. You will mainly be based in our Food Hall but may occasionally need to provide cover in one of our Highlands Table coffee bars. Your responsibilities include handling a high volume of customers while maintaining high-quality service standards.
Ideal candidates will have proven experience in a similar establishment. Previous Barista experience is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
1. Ensure prompt, efficient customer service.
2. Provide quality beverages and products.
3. Maintain a friendly and clean environment.
4. Work as part of a team or independently following instructions.
5. Possess good communication skills.
Qualifications and Skills
* Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills.
* A positive, 'can do' attitude.
* Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate (desirable but training provided).
* Ability to achieve mandatory healthcare induction standards and adhere to the Code of Conduct.

Note on Working Hours
NHS Scotland is reducing the full-time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours starting 1 April 2024, with no change in pay. This change will be phased in across service areas.
