Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and experienced Urgent Care Practitioners to join our healthcare team to support across General Practice sessions (Monday to Friday) and Out of Hours / Extended Access sessions (evenings and weekends). The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care, demonstrating exceptional clinical skills and a thorough understanding of anatomy and medication administration. As an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality healthcare services, diagnosing and treating patients, and promoting overall wellness.
Duties
* Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients, including physical examinations and health histories.
* Develop and implement personalised care plans based on patient needs and medical history.
* Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
* Educate patients and their families about health management, disease prevention, and medication usage.
* Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
* Stay informed about advancements in medical practices, treatments, and technologies relevant to patient care.
Qualifications
* HCPC or NMC Registered
* General Practice / GP OOHs experience
* Non-Medical Prescribing preferred, but not essential
* Minor Illness management and treatment
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £47.00-£60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 – 37.5 per week
