My client is the leading school and nursery milk supplier to local authorities and early years groups, supplying free and subsidised school milk to children in pre-schools, nurseries and primary schools.
Job Description
1. Managing and growing existing customer accounts.
2. Developing account plans, managing client relationships and delivering proposals in line with business needs.
3. Proactive ability to 'network' where there are areas of opportunity - both autonomously and with direction.
4. Attending and representing the business at relevant events, sometimes consisting of multiple days.
5. Autonomously using systems to identify potential contacts and areas of opportunity.
6. Aiding retentions by minimising losses - acting as account manager for large groups and key accounts - being able to form and maintain relationships and using resources/colleagues to overcome problems.
7. Able to report and provide feedback at a high level on key account/event activity.
8. Proactively present ideas and strategies that can drive the business forward based on experience.
9. Monitoring and keeping abreast of competitor activity.
The Successful Applicant
My client is looking for an experienced and passionate sales individual to join their team.
You will possess the following skills:
1. Excellent communicator and able to engage with a range of customers and potential customers from LEA's, Trusts; Schools, early learning settings.
2. Excellent customer service skills.
3. You will be tenacious and keen to build on the excellent relationships with existing customers as well as increase our customer base.
4. You will regularly travel to meet customers face to face and have a very flexible approach to the short notice those interactions may require.
5. You will be an innovative and excellent team player.
