About you and what to expect
We are looking for an analytical problem-solver with years of experience in data management, data quality and/or reporting, who is highly proficient in data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, Tableau, and Power BI.
Strong communication, organisation, and presentation skills are a must, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with various cross-functional teams. You’ll need the confidence to deliver updates to senior stakeholders and clients when required.
As our Data Quality and Reporting Manager, you will manage and drive the Reporting MI Team, developing and implementing data quality standards, monitoring data quality metrics, and creating comprehensive reports to support our clients’ needs. Other responsibilities include:
1. Design and generate innovative and comprehensive reports to support business operations and decision-making.
2. Conduct regular data audits and implement corrective actions.
3. Provide training and support to employees on data quality best practices.
4. Build and manage strong working relationships with suppliers.
5. Work closely with our in-house software development team, providing feedback and working together on opportunities for client service enhancement.
6. Monitor performance across the team against agreed standards and instigate continuous improvement.
7. Hold team 1-2-1’s, quarterly appraisals, and monthly performance meetings.
8. Represent the team in client, supplier, or management meetings.
9. Ensure team members have personal development plans in place.
10. Work closely with other departments, making sure the client experience is at the heart of all decision-making.
Although energy industry experience is preferable, we would also love to hear from people with a background in finance, data warehouse, and retail data.
