Job Description Capital Programme Manager 12-month interim contract to start July 2024 Central London £435 per day Inside IR35 Full-time (35 hours per week) CVs are being reviewed ASAP and interviews will be taking place ASAP Reporting to the Programme Lead for Healthy Environments you will be responsible for leading on all aspects of the management and delivery of their Capital Programme. Whilst also being responsible for temporary staff and a wide range of internal/external consultants Your Role as Capital Programme Manager : • To lead on prioritisation and planning of the Health, Adults and Communities(HAC) Capital Programme • To apply a robust delivery approach for the implementation and performance management of all projects and programmes • To provide specialist programme management expertise and technical advice relating to capital delivery projects and major programmes, and be responsible for the management of risk, issues, and dependencies across a range of work streams • To lead the delivery of the HAC Capital Programme projects, with a pipeline of activity in development • To represent the HAC Directorate at all senior officer and elected members boards across the council, including departmental leadership teams and member-led council forums Your previous experience as a Capital Programme Manager : • Have substantial proven knowledge and understanding of capital delivery schemes, project management, stakeholder engagement, procurement and implementation of good practice • Experience in leading the planning, design and delivery of housing and other capital development programmes • A proven track record of programme management in capital-build environments • Great understanding and knowledge of the design development process, from RIBA Stage 0 to Stage 4 • Experience providing professional reports to a variety of audiences • Experience in leading risk management of complex building contracts and development schemes If you’re interested in discussing this opportunity in more detail or know someone to whom this may be of interest, please reply to this email or contact Tom Pugh on 0117 3137110.
