Job Description
The engineering department is a crucial component of Envea's global operations. As part of the team responsible for designing, building, installing, and commissioning CEMS (Continuous Emission Monitoring System) and fixed gas detection projects worldwide, you will be working on client sites primarily from Monday to Friday.
This role ensures that all systems, whether CEMS or fixed gas detection, are constructed within specified timeframes, installed to the highest standards, and meet the required specifications to fulfill project and production commitments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, build, and install electrical control panels, racks, and products according to provided drawings and instructions.
* Install wiring and component support systems, including trunking, DIN rail, containment, and other related components.
* Integrate instrumentation and control equipment into the overall system.
* Perform installation, identification, and termination of mains, LV, control, communication, and I/O wiring.
* Design, layout, and fit out pneumatic systems within the scope of the project.
* Fabricate analyser housings according to drawings, schematics, and provided instructions.
* Install cable support systems, including tray, basket, conduit, and support channels.
* Install panels, racks, and ancillary equipment, such as lighting, power distribution, ventilation, etc.
* Conduct quality control testing and resolve defects.
Profile Requirements:
* Prior experience in a similar role within an industrial installation team, production, or manufacturing setting.
* Apprenticeship, NVQ, HNC, or equivalent qualifications in relevant areas of Electrical/Mechanical engineering.
* Understanding of engineering drawings and schematics.
* Proficiency in IT and Microsoft Office applications.
* Technical knowledge of electrical control systems, panel build, electrical installation, and integration.
* A proven track record of success in similar roles.
* Fault finding and diagnostics skills.
* Demonstrated proficiency in driving and possession of a valid driving license.
* Fluent English language skills.
Location and Working Arrangements:
The team is based in Tranmere; however, this role involves frequent travel to client sites, working away from the office between Monday to Friday unless necessary to assist in the workshop.

Job Type: Full-time Fixed-term contract
Salary Range: £33k - OTE £40k per annum
